Other gems from the 1980\'s

I think the main things I had from the 80s were g1 ponies, keypers and fairy tail birds - I was a 90s kid, so me and my mum used to pick up a lot of this stuff from flea markets and charity shops.
A lot of other 80s toys are completely new to me, like the she-ra toys - how did I never find those, they're so awesome!

Care Bears, Rainbow Brite, Herself the Elf, Rose Petal Place, Maple Town (Sylvanian Families), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Masters of the Universe, Popples, Smurfs, Puffalumps, Get Along Gang, Shirt Tales, the Snorks, Dungeons and Dragons...

I could go on, but do I need to?  :-p

Yessss! I had that one too! Oh, I want to collect Barbie and MotU now too. Not only collect but play. Siiiiiigh.

I like Care Bears, Puffalumps, Monchichis and Cabbage Patch out of those, but I was never into Rainbow Brite or Smurfs. I was huge into Maple Town and Calico Critters.

I have a very well-loved Starlite plush.    I really liked Rainbow Brite!  And TMNT too.

One I remember but never actually got toys from included carebears, smurfs, garfield, she ra and trolls/princess gweneviere and the jewel riders--the last 2 I think may have been early 90s

Definitely Garfield - my DS snuggles with my age-old Dakin Garfield plushie, and we both still get a charge out of the old books.  I brought home a great Garfield mirror/clock thing while thrifting, and my son just adores it.

I miss my pegasus Puffalump immensely.

And while I loved Care Bears too, I never had one until I found a second-hand Cheer Bear plushie at the beginning of the summer.   Loved Jem and the Holograms, too, plus all the boys' eighties cartoons like Transformers and G.I. Joe.

Does anypony else remember Yawnies?  Or the Real Ghostbusters?
