I have the Luna that looks like all the other G4's, she was released with a large Princess Celestia. But as much as I don't usually like having a lot of variations of the same character, I might have to get this one. And the White Celestia is a definite want!.

Cool I don't mind the pink Celestia I think I am the only one that likes her? Lol I like pink. but I still want that target 3 pack. I do have the 4" Luna but I might have to buy them all seperate?! ugh.

Do we know for sure that Crystal Empire will be Target Exclusive?

I think this will be more like the Wedding line, which was everywhere as far as I know.

Kind of the "theme of the year", the way G3 had "Crystal Princess" or "Butterfly Island" ponies.

I honestly dont know. But hand on heart I am coming down on it being a Target line for a couple of reasons. I do however hope I am wrong.

So here is my contradictory argument..

The Wedding theme is a 2012/2013 line. So a Crystal Empire line should be 2013/2014 - but we are seeing CE items in stores now. If the CE line was supposed to be 2012/2013 we should have seen it at the Toy Fair where Hasbros job is to actively promote their product line to potential retailers but there was no sign of this line. It launched alongside the Wedding range so it clearly was in the same production schedule. In fact we saw a lot of CE items before wedding ones. There have also already been cross over products - FS Cadance & SA - who are part of the wedding line. Target like toy exclusives and have already had a successful run with Canterlot.

At the same time there seems to be an awful lot of CE product out there at the moment and very little of anything else so its an awful lot of product for one retailer unless others are not picking up much of the line. The Crystal Empire does appear to be getting a mention in Season 3 so are Hasbro going to go all out for one retailer? Although if it is only mentioned in one episode then perhaps its only a little boost.

Anyone else notice that Celestia's shoes aren't painted? I knew this Celestia was too good to be true. Why didn't Hasbro make her right the first time?

HathorCat, I think the Crystal Empire will be in more than one episode, as there's a DVD planned called "Adventures in the Crystal Empire."

Personally I still think it will be the new theme, there are too many Crystal Empire ponies for it to be a store exclusive, IMO.

As a side thought, I really hope they keep using the Luna/Cadance mold. It'd be awesome to have more ponies with that body type (like Fleur de Lis<3)
