On the subject of wigs, how well does Liv hair take dye? Could you theoretically submerge a blonde wig into some RIT dye to make it green or something? Or is it saran?

can anyone tell me what kind of joints they have at the shoulder and hip? i want to know if their arms and legs could be swapped for mh parts...

Nope, no swapping going on there. The leg joints at the hip will allow her leg to go forward, but not to the side. The same goes for her shoulders. She can reach out to you, but not open up to hug another doll.

I've never tried to dye a Liv wig and don't know much about types of hair, but I do have a lot of Livs. To my untrained self it seems like different wigs are made of different hair. I could be completely wrong, but some behave and feel so different from one another.

You can- but it doesn't take color well.  I think it is saran.  I've dyed a liv wig before with RIT, and it tinted okay, but mostly washed out.   I think that lighter colors can be done (sortof) but not nice vibrant colors.

They're kanekalon. I don't know if kanekalon takes dye well or not, but my attempt to dye a blonde one orange was unsuccessful, so... yeah.

I'm surprised at the price of these given that they are clearly Monster High knock offs-

The outfits and shoes are SUPER cute!   I would definitely get them for the clothes and shoes if they were cheaper...

I have no idea where they are. They aren't in my TRU. I had to get mine on Amazon. I think they go for $19.99. That's how much Azra was.

That price is accurate if I remember correctly.  I don't think these girls have a set spot, really   Every time I've seen them, they've been stuffed into the "junk" section (you know, that section that has alittle bit of everything in it) down the MH/Bratzillaz/Bratz aisle.  I think you just have to be SUPER lucky to find them.

Oh sure!  It has actually been on and then off a number of my girls- lol
