I'm neutral about this. Yay for less waste and them being easier to open.

On the other hand they are easier to steal and i actually agree that the toys look "cheaper" this way. These days i'm used to seeing fakies being packaged this way. Not official MLP products.

It's a bit...lackluster.

I love the new packaging for the singles, it'll stop me from obsessively preserving and making little stands out of them since it doesn't have the 3D effect anymore and taking the bubble off will rip up the design. I just hope they don't make any changes to FS packaging because they already took away the plastic bubble on so softs, so much DUST! Not excited about tinsel and lack of glittery/see-through ponies though.

This looks like the G1 style tinsel. It shouldn't be like the clear stuff and can be styled.

I'm indifferent on the packaging change, but I'm very disappointed this means another wave with no animal friends!
Maybe this is the next wave, with some others like the princesses in playsets?

Ooh... LOVE the new packaging.  Love, love, love it.  It lets you fully see the pony and check for defects, it's more environmentally friendly, and it just looks nicer!

Just use an xacto knife to remove the bubble =)  It works great for preserving the back card!
