would you buy pony clothes?

so my mom is going to start making pony clothes.  becuae lets face it there is none.  so if you guys would  just please fill out this little intrest form it would be greatly apriacted!

so far  she is thinking aobut perhaps  cloaks  (that dont  look buulky on g4 wings)  hair bows  bling  sutff liek that.

I am not really into clothes for ponies ~
But I do want some cute legwarmers for my ponies, not sure why.

I /would/ however buy accessories that could be worn on both the ponies and me. I would adore to put little bows and stars in their hair. (I really like the fairy kei style that is overly pastel and sweet-- which goes perfect with ponies!)

edit to add : While I have G4s and G1s, I probably am most likely to dress up the G4s.

Just a suggestion (please feel free to disregard if too much work) but one thing that a lady does on a SSC board I frequent- is to make a prototype outfit, post a pic and find out how much interest there is, and also find out whether people would be interested in paying the price that you had in mind (based on amount of work put in)

lol oh that is what were going to do  galatica.  but  my mom wanted to see waht sort of otufits you guys would want!  first.  so she know what  sort of thigns to make.

she thinking of blingy accoesrys. and  pony  hair clips it will msotly be for g4's.   shes  going to make a cloak  first for  a couple  mine  and  a little  bling and hair bows. 

and  thanks for your imput bandit!  i think it  would be wodnerful for those  of us who like to accorsize. ithink it would be awesome to put say..  a  pink  color into a  purple   color  mane. and then  when you deicde hey i wanna have color in my hair!  you take it off hte pony nad put it on yours.

I'm going to go ahead and tell you now there isn't a lot of interest for pony clothes. When I posted mine, there was a lot of nice comments and interest. however when I got around to pricing and trying to sell, no one wanted to buy.
I know this has happened to other members as well. I think that people often want something particular commissioned but even then, it's not often.

You probably won't get a lot of interest because most people don't accessorize   It's unfortunate though, because I love ponywear, especially for G4 Fashion Styles :-D  It would be lovely to see the Grand Galloping Gala outfits, or the bridesmaid dresses from the wedding episode, or some of Fluttershy's modeling outfits from "Green isn't your color"

G1 ponies don't really lend themselves to accessorizing-

but I bet if you created some cool stuff based on the FiM show (ie stuff in post above) - you would have interest- if not here- than you could even try selling it on ebay. 

To save money on fabrics- I would suggest going through the thrift store ?  I often find neat fabrics (particularly in the kids section) ...

yeah i was thinking the more popular  outfits for the g4 ponys.  like the gala dresses.  the wonderbolts outfits.  bows and stuff. beucaes honestly i hate  the cloaks that luna and celeastia came with i tried putting them on and they  just  didnt  look right lol 

and  hoenstly even if  the poyns dont aeosrize i thinkt  hat some ponys look better in outfits!

I would agree that hats, gloves and fishnet stockings would be very cool if they turned out right. 

I would be interested in all of the above- but really it depends on how they turn out.

i acutly have this sparkly  fabric to make trixies  outfit with. lol  yeah and i'm sure mom can do it no problem ^^  the woman can sew anyhting!  and   by applejacks hat do you mean for people to wear or ponys to wear? just clarifying here.. lol but thanks a bunch for all the ideas  i will run them past mom see what she says.   keep sending them in!

the photofinish  gown doesnt look that hard..
