Cosplay help?

Hi there everypony!

I'm planning on doing my very first cosplay at my next con in November and I would love to do Colgate from MLP: FIM. (Look at my avatar for a picture reference) I already found the perfect wig and I know I'm going to be carrying a giant toothbrush around with me. My problem is that I have no idea what to wear But I would like it to be something that I can iron the cutiemark onto.

Any cosplayers with an idea or two?

I'm not a cosplayer either, but I'm a fan of simple costumes. Maybe since Colgate is such a simple pony, a simple tee-shirt and pants would be enough? The wig and the toothbrush are going to be the focus anyway, so you probably don't have to do anything too fancy. As for which material is more appropriate for iron-ons, I'm not sure.

cotton is best for iron-ons because it won't melt in the heat like polyester.

A t-shirt in the appropriate color would probably work, with shorts or jeans.  If you are female, maybe a slip or shift dress in the color you want (you can dye it to match your needs?)

Or I had a cute idea ... light blue scrubs!
