Many of you in the states, esp. the south know about this storm. How many of you are in the path of the storm? Currently it's moving very slowly or not at all! I live in Central LA so the weather isn't bad up here yet but we are expecting power outages and possible flooding

It's been raining here since yesterday afternoon and windy since the day before. The poor dogs want out but I'm not letting them out in the storm. So far we haven't lost power. How's everyone else? Stay safe!

We still have power here, but with as slow as the storm is moving.. we have no idea on how bad we will get it... everyone near the gulf is getting flooded ._.

the dam is expected to FAIL!

I'm in central MS. We've gotten a Pile of rain so there is a little flooding. I live near the Chunky river and when it floods, it cuts us off from town and if bad enough, we can't leave at all. We live on a dirt road and it is a mess and some trees are down. The power went off for a couple hours this morning, but all in all these are things we are fairly used to. I'm pretty impressed by the fact that we have power right now! The only big worry we have right now are the tornado warnings/watches going on. I hope everyone stays safe.
I, for one, am gonna head through the woods to my grandparents for a little homemade soup on this rainy nasty evening!
