I hide ponies for DD in the bathroom closet where she can't reach them.  Occasionally forget they are there.

Wish I had that luck!  The closest I ever came was a dream about finding my old box of sea ponies - I just know I didn't take them with me when I moved!  Maybe they're still in my folks' basement...   Maybe I should offer to help them organize or something...

(Or maybe I should just hire you to find them for me, Rosencrantz, since you have the proverbial horseshoe up your... ) 

Seriously, though, that's just the coolest, to find unexpected ponies in your own home!  Look more!  Find more!  *keeps hooves crossed for Rosencrantz*

I find ponies I didn't know I had, but in the same places all my other ponies tend to congregate.   

*checks bathroom and linen closet*    Sigh, nope, only pony there is the Party Time I have been washing.

I wish I could find ponies in random places in my house. At the rate my collection is growing, it's bound to happen sooner or later. I already have one MIB that I bought a week or two ago. I just buy them sometimes and don't even open them until some time later when I think about it. Even when I do open them, sometimes I'll leave the accessories out for a while before I finally get around to bagging them up. I once had my desk covered with accessories from about three or four different ponies, so I wouldn't be surprised if I lose some eventually and they turn up somewhere else.

Very cool.  Pony infestations are way better than other types. 

I found a few ponies that I had no recollection of buying in random places when we turned our house upside down for renovation earlier this year.  A FF Snuzzle in the back of my closet, a Golden Delicious at the top of a pile of junk in the garage (little explorer) and a Pinkie Pie behind my bookshelf (but I think Pinkie tends to multiply when no one's looking.)  And I finally found my childhood Raincurl is a random bag of clothing scraps.  Still not as cool as your finds.
