I bought some g2 items from Binkyfinder on ebay back in mid June.  The items were posted on 21 June and we waited patiently.  It got to a deadline and we gave up because it was over 7 weeks now and i was issued a refund. 

When i returned from my work trip this week i had something special sitting on my desk...

I was more then happy to send that refund back double time! 

So for standard airmail - letter method - it took just over 2 months!  *shakes head in shame at Aus Post*

Its hard to know where the delay occured, whether USPS or Aus Post.  Sounds like the package has come by sea.   
Great it arrived though.

but has any one else noticed a slow down in internatinal items?

latly anything from over seas has taking an extra 3 or more weeks to arive , frustrating.

I'm still finding an average of 2-3 weeks for international purchases. I hope this doesn't change too much because after 3 weeks I start to get twitchy

I've had the same issue - packages which usually arrive in 10 days are taking 3 weeks or more to get here (same sender). Its really frustrating!

I've actually found things to be pretty quick lately.... I had a package from Belgium come quicker than expected... and belgium is usually such a pain!
