I'm an Earth Dragon (I already knew that, my mom's boss is Vietnamese and gave us all little packets on our zodiacs and elements along with year of the dragon predictions for Chinese New Year)!  Interestingly, so was my mom's dad.  She always said that I remind her of him, so it's interesting that we have the same sign AND element.

I'm a wood rat, to be more specific.
even though I'm not much of a horoscope person I also like this one more than the usual zodiac. mainly because this at least says something about my relationship with my boyfriend (and it'f fun to read about that every now and then). now, apart from the year we have our birthdays on the very same day, and so our (non-Chinese) zodiac always tells the same. there are "day-zodiacs" out there too, but in our case they don't work either. which, well, sucks but as the Chinese is year-based, at least that doesn't deal with us as two identical creatures, which we definitely aren't
