Haha, I'm not too worried about it. P: Just me ranting randomly about the doll. I'm thinking of picking up Signature Abbey anways. P:

I have much the same feelings about Abbey actually. The sig version has a slightly different face, but SS Abbey looks like DT Abbey looks like DDG Abbey. So much pink makeup... and all the same hair too. I do like the GR version of her a lot though, with the colored streaks of hair placed in the front instead of at the back of her head.

ARGH! Went to my Kmart today and who do they have? Rochelle Goyle! I had called them a couple nights ago and they assured me they did not have her in stock. Jerks.

I was out looking to see if I would get lucky and find a Nefera. No luck there. I did get to see GR Draculaura "in the flesh" though and OMG I almost nabbed her. Those wings! So pretty!

Yeah, I'm mostly mad that they're too stupid to actually know what they're looking for and gave me bad information.

In the end I'm glad I got yours from you. We helped each other out and that's better than feeding money to a place like Kmart.

Yeah, it's been proven with ponies that Kmart has no idea what they're talking about. They had ponies listed as "In Stock" (The wedding line & Trixie/Sunny rays wave) but when people tried to purchase them they received random ponies with the same stock number that weren't even from the same line/wave (For example, they bought a Trixie and received a Blossomforth..) or were told they're not actually available to purchase.

I had seen stories like that. I had called my local store and asked, "I am looking for a Monster High doll named Ro-chelle Goy-le. Can you tell me if you have her?" And the lady said, "Ok, I'll page toys for you. I know we have Monster High dolls in stock." About 5 minutes later someone else gets on the line and says, "We don't have that doll in stock." Erm ... yeah ... I see her right there. 

Whatever. It's in a shady part of town and we'll never go back there because they didn't have much and the employees are obviously braindead.

ETA: Can anyone give me insight on how long orders get to you from shop.mattel.com? I'm thinking about just grabbing Nefera online.

if i had money i'd take you up on both but i'm broke and out of commission work


baby oil experiment - got rid of the glue but now the hair is still kind of oily even after using dish soap to was it out. Maybe it's not completely dry yet. we'll see.

lastly MY WALMART SUCKS DONKEY UNMENTIONABLES!

no sign of either exclusive dolls.. the same crap as they had a month ago (wave 1 cam starters - the single torso ones) some SS, some 1600.
I just happened to see a box on their cart labled Ghouls Rule. I made an emplyee stop and open it for me. I was hoping it was Abbey but it just the standard assortment. Every single doll in there was FLAWLESS. GR Cleo tempted me like mad but I went ahead and got Clawdeen for a late b-day present. But I am once again 1 Clawdeen behind since the Khols one is showing up.

I found the 20% off coupon online, so I picked up Nefera and Operetta off the website. I really wanted Abbey, but even the stock on their website sucks. I'm a jerk, so I wrote a comment about the cruddy selection they have. I live in a large city just outside of Denver and even I can't find diddly squat except S1600 and some sparse other bits here and there. Oh, and I think I've seen something like 70 Ghoulia Yelps between all of our stores that carry MH. Honestly? Honestly.

Distribute, Mattel! You'll thank yourselves later!

I do that everytime they make me take a survey or ask me questions, say they need a better selection or keep things in stock in regards to mh.

day three of stalking walmart and still no ddg 3 pack or GR abbey... I'm getting really discouraged. I just want my abbey's universe.

and clearly everyone who was hunting for the ST dolls in my area found them cause they've been on the shelves all week along with venus and robecca...

I would really love a Holt for it, but I know that's a long shot.

Lol, sounds like I'm not the only one that has a know nothing kmart in town. I called the other day, looking for sig Spectra. I'm transfered to toys, and the lady that answered had no idea what Monster High was. She asked me to repeat the name 3 times. Then when I said I was looking for the Spectra doll, she asked if that was the same as the '80's dolls 0_0

If you're looking for Roller Maze girls, check (I swear!) your local Family Dollar. I went in today looking for something and found RM Ghoulia and Operetta on the shelf. (If I hadn't just splurged on Robecca a few minutes previously....)
