Hasbro's Create-A-Pony
« on: August 14, 2012, 08:12:13 PM »
Has anyone used Hasbro's blank G3 pony base to make customs? I'm curious as to how well these work for customs vs. a bait G3.

This is what the blank pony looks like: http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com/my-little-pony-decorate-your-own-pony-98792?BR=704&ST=SO&PG=1

I would think they are no different than the core 7 ponies

Wow, it's only $5? I thought it was more than that...
Only reason why it's cheap is because they were meant to be more like something kids can do at like parties or something XD Parents wouldn't buy bulk of them if the ponies cost too much.. at least that is my thinking
My DeviantArt, why not drop by and take a look!

I used them for my first two customs. I wish they came in different poses. The only thing I can think of is that the glue for the hair tends to be more intact and harder to get out.

I received one as part of a MLP-themed swap a few months ago.  The person who sent it to me said "I thought you might like to have a blank slate" and I was all "No way!  Her name is Snowflake and she's sitting in my collection!"

When they first released them they were only $3 :/  I've used a couple before, and I have one I've kept in the box. :)
