She was a raopk from Tuney quite a while back but I've only just got around to finishing off the deflock its taken quite a few hours, now I just need to do Cupcake ( also from Tuney) and Twilight.

Lovely! I wish I could get the nerve to try a deflock. I have a Northstar that I've had sitting around for like 3 years.....trying to work up the nerve to do it. lol

Thus far my only deflock has been by accident, and she's never been finished. I bought a lot of ponies, and one of the ponies in the lot was WindWhistler. And she looked gorgeous - except for the red, crusty splotch in between her wings. Seriously, I don't know if it was candy, or, well, blood but regardless I had to wash it off.

And, at the time, I didn't know hot water would take flocking off, so of course it started coming off!  The worse thing is, I can't remember if I got all that junk off her! I was so horrified by the flocking coming off, that I just stopped what I was doing and kinda went into panic mode. Pop might remember this - I think I had her and Uni on chat at the time, but it was years ago.

I'm still keen on reflocking a pony, too - I know it can be done! Well, sort of.

Yeah I've seen some reflocks, they look good! You should give it a try I kind of wish hot water had worked on ribbon.... It was a NIGHTMARE get that flock and glue off, even with acetone! It was so stubborn, hopefully my others will be easier.
