Show me your cosplay!

I did an Applejack cosplay ages ago that in all honesty was really bad (no photos exist of it, thank glob )
But I am planning a Fluttershy cosplay, I do have the general idea down it's just a case of sourcing fabrics and pursading my mum to give me a hand, as for my costume I'm having to make a top for it as I would have originally found something close to what I want and modified it but no luck but I found a pattern for what I want.
Not necessarily cosplay related but I'm hoping to try my hand at making some steampunk styled goggles, I have the 'eye piece' base for years but it was a case of finding fabric, I couldn't find say an old leather handbag to attack but I found some leather look viynal (sp?) on sale in my local fabric shop which I'm going to use instead. I also have some curtain rings to use as well, and need to get some eyelets and some plexiglass.
I've also wanted to do an Assassin's Creed cosplay but the thing daunting me is finding fabric and also finding the right materials. I know how to make a prop hidden blade (thank you youtube) and know somewhere I can get a shirt which would look right but I can't find much pattern wise for the tunic or hood. I want to do a cosplay based off this character:

 oh the boots are an issue too, theres a shoe shop near me that a while ago had the perfect pair but they don't stock them anymore so I'm going to have to improvise. D:

I also wore my horse head that I wore on the very first day of the con on the last day with my John cosplay and I had so many Homestucks tell me what a beautiful John I was. (bluh, my shirt needs to be pulled down more in this pic) The GT John is evanfoundarock.tumblr.com

Dressing up as a character from an anime, comic, etc. People sometimes roleplay and adopt the mannerisms of the characters they're dressed up as. Most of the costumes people wear are handmade and take lots of effort and the end products are usually pretty amazing. I have a friend who wants to be a costume designer so, he makes cosplays for different anime conventions he goes to and enters in the costume contests, usually winning the first prize. It's can be really fun if you're into that sort of the stuff!

My brother does this all the time! He makes all his costumes himself, with the help of his wife and they do commission work. He was once photographed in the Guiness book of world records for the most people in one place dressed up as Superman! His costumes look like they're from the movies, just unbelievable! It is pretty sweet! Of course, I can't find THAT pic at the moment! It was taken not too long ago in Metropolis, IL in front of the giant Superman statue.

lol it was really easy because I really do like to make people smile and it was great seeing how many people I made smile by just seeing my costume ^_^ I also handed out suckers and blew bubbles which helped

It was easy for me to do Yuna (ill have to try to find pictures..it was the year before doing Miku) from final fantasy X, because i have a similar personality to her--but i wasnt like that all the time.  Mainly just when people wanted pictures.

Miku..I never got a chance to try out her character.  I was dressed up for maybe an hour before being hospitalized and most of it was on the trainride there.  She has more of a happy carefree kind of attitude.
