I can't help but finding this kinda funny ;) I'm just glad she didn't hurt herself with the razor though O.o Lord knows how many times I've cut myself with those things >.<

Fortunatly eyebrows grow back pretty fast. At least mine does. I have to pluck em' every day to keep them in shape or else they're back in no time O.o

I agree with the others though, it does seem like she's just a very curious child who likes to experiment :P However, experimenting with razors might not be the best thing to do when you're not even 10 :P

Yeah, I'm sure they'll be ok by her birthday. Maybe not totally back, but I'm sure they'll be at least not totally freaky looking. And I couldn't help it. I read the title of this thread and I cracked up laughing. Sounds like something I'd have done as a kid if mom hadn't let me know I was never to touch razors.

A friend of mine's child was getting teased at school for his unibrow, so he decided to shave it.  Except the razor was too wide, so he shaved off part of one, then while trying to fix it shaved the whole thing!  They grew his bangs out to cover and drew it on for a month.

Someone was just curious!  She'll probably be fine pretty soon, as eyebrows grow really fast, and if they're not great by the time her birthday rolls around you can always fill them in a bit with pencil.

At least she wasn't like me, who did her entire head...

I was thinking, maybe leave them as is? It will teach her to think ahead of time and about what her actions could do, other kids won't notice unless she's the unpopular kid/the picked on kid in class.

ROFL! It's worse than I thought! She shaved half of one and 3/4 of the other! I asked her why and she said she didn't know and she's new to shaving! Oh, my goodness! I told her I didn't shave until I was 12 and she doesn't need to shave anything right now. I never had this problem before because she couldn't reach the razors, but apparently she can now! It's kinda hard to tell in the pics, but one of her eyebrows she like shaved the middle of it but left the outside edges! She's now trying to keep her bangs down as far as she can! I'm glad school hasn't started yet!

Here is a before pic, some of you may remember her from the fair!

Oh my!

Shes a pretty girl, I dont understand why she would want ot take a razor to things.  I know I wasnt allowed to touch one until I was 12, and even then it was like everyone was monitoring me.

Im sure they will grow back before school starts <3

-giggles- oh dear! I shaved off half an eyebrow when I was around her age, luckily as my natural hair colour is rather dark we could pencil it in with eyeliner for the time being.. I also decided to cut my fringe when I was 6, apparently it was because 'I wanted to be a hairdresser' and 'I hated it anyway' XD

I sometimes have mishaps even now when shaping my 'brows.. :') yay for having an awesome fringe!

Fight like a girl..

These are the kinds of things we look back on and laugh about if we aren't already giggling. :P It's a good thing school hasn't started indeed! I can't help but think it's kind of cute, but at the same time it might be frustrating too, lol.
The worst I think I ever did was put toothpaste in my toy horse's hair when I was about 3... But look on the bright side at least she's aware of eventually needing to shave at some point in her life (just maybe not her eyebrows)! I didn't know females even shaved or had shavers until I already had hair growing on my legs and wanted to wear shorts one day :yikes:

Hehe, well in all honesty it doesn't look too bad. At least not from an outsiders perspective (talking about me here :P) She just looks a little paler. There's many kids and adults for that matter with such pale eyebrows that you'd think they don't have any. So from my perspective it just looks like something like that.

Ok that's only judging by pictures, and I'm very sure that you as her mother and herself who are used to her having visible eyebrows this is somewhat of a transformation. But they will grow back in no time :) And this will make for a funny story later on at family gatherings etc. ;)

I'm on a crappy computer for viewing pics but she looks like she has very thin hair and can pass for just having thin eyebrows. I started shaving my legs at like 10 because I have very thick very dark hair. I could donate her half my eyebrows and still have enough leftover hairs to still need to pluck them down to size.
