Ooooh, people have been talking about me! :blush:

For the record, I have not been avoiding this forum for any particular reason other than not really having the time. However, I was looking at some of Pinkamena's entries over on Flickr earlier and felt inspired to come over and check out what this ANTM thing was all about. (That and I'm kinda procrastinating with regards to my next photo.)

I'm assuming this is the Star Wars photo people were referring to earlier in the thread:

Just wait till my 12" Star Wars dolls arrive! Then I'll have 1/6th scale lightsabers and Jedi robes to play with! I don't think I'll be getting them for another week or two, though. I got Obi-Wan, Mace and Count Dooku.

Well, I wasn't all that interested before. I've never watched the shows this contest is based on and my only real knowledge of the modeling world in general comes from stuff like Zoolander.  :huh:

Also, I think I was also put off early on by the thoroughly confusing jumble of similarly-titled threads. LOL. I'm grateful to Tuney for putting together that compilation thread. It makes navigating this forum so much easier. It's too bad there isn't also one for the non-contestant threads (or did I just miss it?).

thanks her hair ended up being the exact same shade green as her wings and scales a happy accident I mean I did it on purpose...yes that's right all part of my plan....

Rhini I LOVE that second shot of frankie the glasses with the different lenses and her two different eyes looks so cool

Didn't have a lot of other takes this week, but here's one that shows my whole set. Painted backdrop, printed and cut out planets, scrap paper ground and lava rocks!

oh, Pukunui, I am digging that! cant wait to see the props you get!!! Oh, yeah, and your katana reminded me that I have a WWII era miniature katana! It is sharp, and has a wooden lacquer handle. I am sure it was a letter-opener for export. It WILL come out to play soon!

whoops, that was supposed to be for Pinkamena, silly tablet!  RHPS is the Rocky Horror picture Show. It reminds me of the final scene where Magenta and Riffraff are in their native alien get-up and crazy hair!

Ruby looks so cute in Uhura's dress! Honestly, I want one for myself. >.>;

I like Lilitha's first shot, it has a great retro spacey feel, and you can see her whole outfit.

Kalma's awesome styling would be right at home in Fallout 3, I love it. :heart: A total warrior of the wastes.
