Any Plushie collectors out there?

So just curious, does anyone else collect plushies? I have a small collection currently but I'm definetly going to make it larger. I jokingly like to tell my Fiancee when we get a house, I'm having a Plushie room.

So this is my collection, it's mostly stuff combining my video game hobbies at the moment, but I hope to fill it with all manner of eclectic areas. It consists of currently: Riolu, Skitty, Deerling and Drilbur from Pokemon, Companion Cube from Portal, a Whale, and a plushie Dust Mite.

My favourite would have to be my Companion Cube, it's extremely soft and holds fond memories from one of my favourite game series, plus it makes an extremely good sleeping companion.

So my questions are: Do you collect plushies? Why? and what is your favourite?

Yes.

Why?
Because I love them and always have. I had tons when I was small.

Hmm.. Koda from Brother Bear I think.

Not intentionally really but I have a stuffed animal addiction so I keep buying them whether I'm intending to collect them or not.

Oh yeah! I have a whole bunch of Pokémon plush, as well as several Eeyore plush and other random bits and pieces of things I have acquired throughout the years. I even have Don Juan, a teddy bear in an Air Force sweater that my husband gave to me when we first started dating, up in our bed. He sleeps with me.

I collect Beanie Babies, and other random plush. I like the more "exotic" ones, like snails, bugs, and what not.

I have a lot of plushies.  My most beloved ones are my giant Funshine Bear and my Stitch plushie.  I'll try to get some pictures later.

I have a lot of stuffed animals. I don't collect them but I'm such a kid at heart. I adore getting them as gifts and buying one for myself occasionally cause I just can't resist. I probably have about 30, most of which are at my mom's house.

I collect horse themed webkinz.  I have almost all of them. Zebras, donkey, pegasi, unicorns & regular horses. I wish they would make a palomino and an appaloosa.

what I usually buy: frogs (have been collecting frogs since I was a baby ), any other animals I like (owls, snails, sea creatures, platypuses...), Pokémon and other anime stuff I like, some Kirby too
and the Furbies - although they aren't exactly plushies. but I do collect Furby beanie buddies too
I especially love really small plushies ^^

I have hundreds (or maybe it's closer to a thousand actually  ), I lost count of them long ago but most of them are in my father's house, I couldn't move them when I moved out of his house, I only brought a small bunch "I can't live without" of course I bought several since I moved, but not as much. in the last couple of years I try to be cautious and picky. even though it hardly works...
