Shipping from Sweden: anyone else find its slow ATM?

Hi everyone   Its been a while since I bought from Sweden and so I could do with some advice from other Swedish members and peeps who have bought from sweden lately.  Has anyone else had a recent experience with super slow shipping times? 
I bought a couple of ponies from a lovely member here back in late June.  The ponies were shipped early July, but they still havent shown up    I am in the UK so while international shipping times can vary, Sweden isnt that far away. I hope that its just a delay in customs or something cos I reeeaally wanted these two ponies *sigh*

Sorry, I'm in the USA but I know that I sold a FurReal Friend to a Swedish person a couple months ago. It took 40 days I believe and that seems pretty dang long.

For the record, lots of my outgoing mail to other countries seems particularly slow lately :-(

Hopefully one of our lovely Swedish members will see this!  And can shed some light on if they are experiencing any sort of delays.

I'm in the UK and purchased from Sweden just 2 weeks ago. Mine got here in 2 days, but that was priority shipping! Still think it was some record as I don't think I've had UK post arrive so quickly!

Just sent something to Germany and that arrived very quickly indeed, so I can't say we are having overall slow shipping atm. I hope yours arrive soon!

I ship to, and receive from, Sweden all the time and it's usually around a 7-10 day  shipping time. I haven't noticed anything different lately.

I had a package come First Class from Sweden (it just had stamps on it, no customs forms or anything) and it took about 3 weeks?  Not much of a delay...

I had one exactly like this too and it took about 2 weeks. I was surprised to see no customs form. I'm in the US.

I've a package wich I sent to Canada on the 9th july who haven't shown up at the buyers yet :/ But other than that I usually find shipping to the UK really fast from Sweden, even faster than shipping within the country -___-
I hope it shows up soon!

If you don't put a customs form on (and the "postal workers" often forget or don't know about the need - we don't even have actual post offices anymore, we just ship from grocery stores :/) there can be a delay - but not within the EU... unless they took it in for some random control? Normally Swe-UK should take 3-4 days or so.

The news today said that there have been more reports than usual lately about letters disappearing... perhaps they are just messing up more than usual as of late? I really hope you get it soon!

It does seem you have been waiting unusually long. Was it a high value pony?

the answer is both yes and no. ..  The ponies in the missing parcel are NSS Cupcake and Nurse Tenderheart, which would mean that the parcel would have been reasonably high value, but the ponies (especially Cupcake) are in need of quite a bit of restoration so they didnt cost what they would have done normally... although its not like I can just buy replacements easily either *sigh*   
My seller is helpful though and we have kept in contact throughout. I cant fault her at all for the way she is handling it
