Help me ID these critters?
« on: August 09, 2012, 12:47:46 PM »
I've seen similar things like this on here before and I'm hoping someone can tell me what they are and maybe give me a price check? I found these all stuffed in a bag together at a flea market. They were too cute to pass up. Some of them have a sticker under their feet that says, "(c) 1985 Epoch China". They're also fuzzy.

Here's everything I got.

The Hedgehog family. They seem to be in fairly good condition.

The Mouse family. All but the little one in the overalls have had their tails pulled off. And it looks like Dad and one of the children are missing their outfits.

The adorable horse! I will be keeping this one, but any information about it would be very helpful. :)

And the furniture.

Any information is greatly appreciated and if anyone is interested in buying them, feel free to send me a PM with an offer. :) Thanks for looking!

Calico Critters here in the US or UK and  Sylvanian Families in Japan. I think The Japanese versions were of higher quality. Super cute though. They are available at Toys R Us currently... I want the Red Panda family

If they say Epoch, they're going to be Sylvanian Families.  The hedgehogs are definitely the Bramble family and the mice are the Maces family.  The horse is Willow from the Carly and Willow at the Horse Show playset.

I'll have more info on the furniture for you in a minute.  :)

Those hedgehogs are adorable! Agreed, they look like calico critters. So those are vintage? That furniture looks so high quality compared to the things they make these days!
