Huh? What just happened?

This is kind of stupid, but I'm wondering if anybody has had this happen to them before... My boyfriend ordered me some doll clothes from Toys'R'Us official eBay. They left positive feedback after getting payment, and then... They randomly refunded him.  :blink: Err... Why? I don't get it, why did they do that?

It doesn't matter now... He got me some alternative doll clothes that are much cuter, anyway. But I'm still completely baffled as to why they would do that.

They probably didn't have the item in stock.  It was rude to not give you an explanation though.  In my experience, Toys R Us seems to be a little notorious for that.

Is it possible that they didn't have the clothes anymore? Accidents do happen and they may have sold out before they realized it.

It sounds to me though like they were out of stock.  And noone ever bothered to update their ebay page.

I am glad you still got some cute dolly clothes though and your money back.

Huh, that makes sense. The weird thing is, after they refunded the money, they updated the listing, and it still says "more than 10 available".  :huh: So strange.

That is strange :huh:  I'd have thought the same thing as everyone else - they refunded because they were out of stock... but if they updated the listing right after that then it doesnt make sense  ... unless they got a delivery soon after?  :what:  but then you'd think they'd contact you and let you know...
