I finally got Lyra and Trixie tonight after two weeks of searching! Hopefully my good luck will continue and my local TRU will have the Favorites Collection when I go up there tomorrow

Blah. I wonder how much I've spent in gas checking everyday...

I decided to do a loop on Saturday of all the major towns near me.  170 miles, four Toys R Us', three Targets, three Walmarts, and two K-Marts.  I filled the tank right at the start ($52.00....ouch, gas is back on the rise).

My only purchase: the Shining Armor/Princess Cadence Wedding Castle set.  Nothing else new to be seen anywhere.

All that driving cost me half a tank's worth of gas (almost exactly- it was just under halfway when I got home).  So a $35 playset cost me $26 in gas.  I'm starting to think purchasing online and paying shipping may be a more cost-effective solution.  And that's not even factoring the time spent into the equation.  Of course the downside to that is the thrill of the hunt is part of the fun of collecting, and if you buy online it's harder to inspect things before purchasing.

Oh well, I have to drive out of state this weekend so maybe a change of hunting grounds is what the doctor ordered?  Or much more likely, that's when they will all hit my stores.

GAH. No new ponies, no new blind bags, no zecora, and no favorites set! This is starting to get very frustrating!

I haven't checked yet, but I'm going to TRU today to hopefully get a Zecora for my friend's birthday tomorrow. And one for myself. If they have the favorites set, I'll be picking that up too. I'll report what they have later in the brag arena, if I got anything. Hopefully they will.

I preordered these ponies directly from Hasbro and they finally shipped out this morning.

So anyone who ordered these from Hasbro should be getting them soon.

Or when you get to the TRU parking lot and see two guys in Wonderbolt hoodies. *saw this two days ago on my hunt for Zecora. Really wanted to say something, but had a Fluttershy moment and nothing came out *

Just went to TRU and they had nothing, though in case anyone is interested there were the riding along with Rarity and Daisy Dreams set. I love the riding alongs so I bought them with the coupon.

Still no luck. It's really frustrating; the last two times I checked they've looked very empty, so either they haven't got them yet or people are beating me to it.

I'm done looking and waiting, looking and waiting, and looking and waiting.  I spent $9 on ebay for the Cherry Berry I need and my pre-order from HTS.com shipped today as well. No more hunting for me for quite awhile.
