So I snagged Delany's fakie lot = just had to with an upcoming VAPonyMEET and well... we need fakies for games and stuff ;-)

and this was the one I "had to get" for my daughter Julie = loves yellow, and so I let her pick out the rehair colors for a quick re-do

She's smaller than the "real MLP" running pose = but otherwise a real cool knock off I think - no made in china/ no hoof marks

her tail was knotted inside, so maybe she's a bootleg from South America?  Anybody know the history? I'm curious...

so all the real nirvana, if they are hasbro sanctioned, are larger than this yellow - which makes me think she's not a hasbro/Nirvana = kinda like the crumpet pose and DG baby fakies = but I love this pose so it's all good :-)

but I'd love even more if someone knew of another - yeah, I think Colombia did knock off/bootleg baby molds... hmmm dunno if this is from Colombia

Wow interesting - her eyes do have that South American thing going on but the size difference is odd so I think she is likely a HB mould fakie. But she is very very cool

I think the crumpet pose fakies may be a little smaller than the originals as well - perhaps someone can compare them for confirmation or denial of that?

oh I'm learning something here = HB mould ? Which company is that? Oh = you mean hasbro? hmmm = I was thinking the smaller size ruled out that it was a replica like the baby fakies = but if the crumpet fakie was from hasbro, than maybe there's something in the process that shrinks the size down when they re-use it to copy from or something... i remember one of the artists at the MD meet who casts the petites and such says there's some size shrinkage that occurs in her molding process.  So maybe that's the deal

it's anybody's guess = has anyone else seen a fakie like this?  I'm off to search fakie sites now...

It is a nice fake i almost want to say it is a stolen mold of a gen 1 but it looks to small to be that.

No by HB mould fakie I mean that the actual Hasbro moulds have been copied - i.e. the Crumpet post, the newborn baby pose and the Baby Cotton Candy pose fakies we see. These have probably been "reverse engineered" [not as techincal as that but I am not sure how else to phrase it] to create a new mould to manufacture the ponies and that could explain a size differential.

This is really cool! In addition to the ones hathorcat said, there are also a baby Firefly, kangaroo, panda, lamb, and calf fakie molds.
