I'm such an idiot.  I just bought what I thought was a new (or at least one I had not seen before) Mario (Super Mario 3D) game at Target for the Wii-  got home only to realize it was a game for Wii-U.

I wish I'd gotten into the beta weekends! I didn't even know when they were coming around so I didn't bother to try and get in or anything Kind of upset it's going to be pay to play, but I'm excited too!

If this serves as a recomendation, the first comments about the beta have been pretty negative for the gamers and the specialyzed press aside

As soon as I receive it this week, I'll be playing Dangan Ronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. It should be shipped today since I called NIS America (I pre-ordered the limited edition set) about my card (to try and make a long story short, they tried charging my card 12 hours before I got paid and I emailed them the day [it was during business hours and shortly after their office opened] I got paid to go ahead and charge my card, didn't hear from them at all, called this morning and got it fixed.) and they let the warehouse know to go ahead and ship my game. The game doesn't even come out 'til tomorrow so I was not prepared for being charged almost a week before it came out. Wish I called Friday instead of emailing them. D: Oh well, I will still get it, enjoy it and cry my heart out in despair.

Currently dividing my gaming time between Guild Wars 2 (still trying to recruit for the Skrittsburg Foreign Legion), and EverQuest Next Landmark Alpha (mining obsidian while I try to visualize a good design for the Ravenplume Tower).

I really, really shouldn't have started on don't starve. I keep wanting to spend an hour playing it and it always ends up being more.
I've found I like playing as Wendy and am finally starting to get the hang of making it through winter, curious to truly start exploring a world now. There's tons of stuff I haven't found yet.

Also still really enjoying Elite Beat Agents. I'm actually really, really starting to like the song list, despite the fact many entries wouldn't have been my first pick. And if I hadn't been sold on the game already, I would have been by the time I was dancing off an alien invasion. Over the top doesn't even begin to cover that game at times.
I did look up some gameplay video's of the original Japanese game. Man, I knew EBA was very heavily localized, but I hadn't realized they'd basically rewritten everything but basic gameplay from the ground up. Of course, both basically doing their own thing just makes it more interesting to try and pick the original up at some point. It'll be an entirely new game to play. ^^

Still playing Mass Effect and encountered my first thresher maw. It was the first time I couldn't just bash something to death and I was Discouraged. Then I looked up how actual strategy works. Also pretending it's a dating sim with Wrex and Garrus.

Installed Sim City 4 Deluxe and giving it a go. I'm debating creating a utopia and then unleashing a giant robot on it.

LOL I abuse the money cheat totally. Whenever my Sims have a job, it's boring! They're gone all day I've been playing Sims 3 on my new desktop and it's really the first time I've ever been able to play because it never worked right on Mac. I'm having so much fun! It really is a great game when it works
