I've also had to update my earlier pet question with some bad news.  We've had to put to sleep one of our old cats today, my Cosmo.  He was 16 and it was his time, but I'm sad and so are the other cats and my Roomy.

Wow.....some of you guys are getting started on this REALLY early.    I probably won't start most of my shopping for this one until October. But my partner has already given me many wonderful ideas!

I am starting early too because the prices for ponies will sky rocket after September as sellers prepare their stuff for Christmas sales..blaaaa....hoping to avoid that.

Sorry Elfpony we had to do that during the spring months and it still hurts.  Hugs to you that is really hard.

I just categorized my partners wishlist so I can find ponies more easily.

Also had an idea for getting the box ready:
-September: get the ponies early!
-October: extras & wrapping (& maybe any extra ponies)
-November: wrap and ship off


Jeez I am obsessive. Anyone else do this?

That is always so hard, Elfpony.  I'm sorry.

I am a list maker.  I like having my partner's wants on paper in my notebook.  I always start my pony and extra hunting among what I have.  I have grabbing up pony things to give out in boxes as extras or as surprises with my sales.  Then check and rewrite my list, taking it all over with me.

Starting early too because of international shipping being slow sometimes. Besides, I already got some good ideas on things to buy.

So very true. Never thought of that. I'm gonna try to get started as soon as possible.

So sorry Elfpony.   It's awful to lose a loved pet. I dread the day my Dixie passes. She's 11 and a half already. :/

Yes I have a list also. I usually print out the wanted list and forum questions posts so I can refer to them.  I make list of plans and then as I do what I plan I check it off...I am a big list maker. I can't think without a list.
