Yummy Chocolate Pony!
« on: July 23, 2012, 02:45:28 AM »
I've done a few customs but never shown them off... but I'm so proud of this one I just have to share!
Say hello to my chocolate pony!

I used a Lickity Split (horrible hair, symbol rubs and body stains, the usual... as well as some weird plastic lump on her lip?) because that's my favourite G1 pose. Painted the face a nice brown, it looks better in person, and then used real gold leaf and tied an actually chocolate easter bunny bell around her neck.
I was just gonna sell her but now she looks great in my herd, so yummy!  :frolic:

Though I don't think I'll be using gold leaf again any time soon, an utter nightmare it was! But well worth it. ^.^

Thanks for looking

Wow she looks great, so well thought out and great to see use of an unusual material. Really clever touch with the bite of the ear! I see why you want to keep her and are so proud :)

Being partially unwrapped is clever.  She looks like dark chocolate, my favorite

Holy cow, the pony DOES look like she's made of chocolate. Like you could just eat her. She made me actually crave chocolate. Job very well done!
