I've been talking to a co-worker about MH for a week or two now, and today she told me she bought one:)  She picked up SS Lala.  She said she was using her for a model for her drawings (she wants to be an artist when she 'grows up')  She said when I had mentioned that they could be posed it practically any way, she got to thinking they'd be better than those wooden dolls sold at art supplies stores, that don't pose all that well.  Of course, she knows she'll have to make mental modifications because MH isn't all that realistic.  Anyway, she said she had to have "just one."  And then I laughed.

Haha, I remember "just one"
Those were the days
The days of having money that didn't get blown on MH

Hey guys, is there any way to prevent glue seepage from getting worse?  I know nobody's found a cure for it, but I just got Venus and found a tiny bit of grease on the cardboard behind her head, so I'd like to do what I can to keep it from getting any worse xD

Goof Off 2 (discontinued, though it can still be found on the web) and Twin Pines of Maine's Formula 911 works on getting rid of any outer glue residue that pops up. I'd keep both away from any face decals or flocking however, as I'm unsure of how the chemicals may react to the paint/adhesive.

Has anyone washed their Venus yet?  Has the flocking held up well?  I washed the flocking right off my 1600 Clawd:(

I washed and straightened my Venus with hot water but I was worried about the flocking part holding up so I kept the water away from it by rinsing her hair upside down and tilted away.

If anyone has a Nefera laying around they don't want anymore, will you please consider selling her to me?  All I want really is her body, not even the head.  I'd like her for a custom.  I'm currently using my Nefera's body.  Her head is NOT happy   Wants her body back:)

Has anyone visited Target's clearance shelves this week? At my Target, the CAM Labs have gone 30% off! What the heck? They aren't going to be carrying them? I thought these were still new?

Yeah I found this too to be very odd! Why are these new items already on clearance?  Too many returns or complaints, so that target or mattel discontinued them?
Like it was also odd how clawdeen/howleen pack never got stocked then went on clearance.

Mad Science Lagoona and Hydration Station lagoona's Stand :( :( xxx
Yeah, my brand new clear MH stand for ST Clawdeen snapped almost immediately.  I was bummed.  Sad to see its a trend.

Woah! O__O That's horrible! I'm thinking I should stop using the clear stand for my SDCC Ghoulia and replace it with another to make sure it won't broke off!

That's a shame, the clear stands do look pretty but are so fragile.

Is better not to use them at all.

I got a Robecca when she was up on Walmart.com the other day, but I'm still on the lookout for Venus. She's just so edgy. I NEED her.

Just wondered: is there any major difference between Abbey in the signature version and the one from Skull Shores? I tend to like the Skull Shores one better for her "softer" look, but maybe the doll itself is the same after taking off the clothes and accessories?
