Baity Mimic restoration thread, finished, after pics are up:D

Oh! She does indeed look white in your picture now rather than light avocado! Where do you think her hair has been trimmed...maybe I am missing it in the photos but it looks about normal Mimic length to me...just the faded pink stripe but that happens to every Mimic just about it seems sometimes

Hathorcat, yeah, now I'm changing my mind about the cut again!     When it was wet it looks all uneven and weird.  I think it is the lighting why she looks white.  She is a pale avocado.  I had the blinding over head light on.

That pose is so annoying for judging hair trims ...hair always seems to look a little choppy...

Cant wait to see pics of her all finished in her glory!

Thanks Enolaalone!  I got her clean with oxyclean and water brought to a boil (soaked for a bit), acetone, and Mr. Clean magic eraser.  I also filed the super bad scuffs with a nail file and repainted her symbols.  I buffed out her eyes a little too and put a gloss medium over them. 

So here she is, finished.  I'm not an expert painter, but I think she will display quite nicely, and had I not already spent a lot of money on a minty one, I'd probably be pretty happy having her as my one and only Mimic.  Will be sad to see her go.

I will be selling her.  I am making payments on a minty Mimic and I'm almost there:D  As soon as I receive the new Mimic I was going to auction her off on ebay.  Either that, or I'll be taking offers on her here.  I hate how ebay makes me wait for my paypal funds!

What a restore! This thread makes me never want to think something is trash again. I thought for sure this girl was un-restorable. I am so thrilled you could bring her back to life  I sold her as a bait because I really thought the only way she would come back is as a custom. Amazing work and congrats on a great pony
