Oh man, props for such quality needle felting! I needle felt occasionally, pretty much only when I've forgotten how painful it can be with a stray needle in a finger. Do you dye your own roving? That's a really lovely mane colour too.

   I poke myself quite a bit, but I can live with it.  Yes, I do dye almost all of my own roving.  That mane color I just used blue raspberry lemonade Kool aid.  If you add a couple tablespoons of vinegar the dye will take better if you are using food coloring or kool-aid.  It's kind of like when you dye Easter eggs:)  I love dying my wool, but sometimes it can be trying to get the right color, in this case it was simple.  Her body color was much more difficult to get...
