My CAM werewolf and cat are like that.  I cut the pegs off and glued the ears to nails.

Thank you Tuney!! I wasn't sure what I was going to do with her, but I'm so pleased the way her wig turned out. Your Triclops looks like such a badass with her hair styled like that! I think i'm going to go buy another CAM set and root one of the heads with yarn. I have this ah-mazing turquoise wool left over from the mittens I crocheted last winter... I think it would look good on the sea monster...or the wolf...I wouldn't mind having a wolf 3-pack... Louisa is almost finished after all... *ponders*

The wonderful think about the yarn is that, hairstyle-wise, you can do virtually anything with it - straight hair, curly hair, ponytail, pigtails, a big poof, you can part it to the left, right, down the middle. You can shape it any way you want, and it stays!

If I can ever get a body for my dragon CAM, maybe I'll use yarn on her head instead of my fur wigs.

Me too! It's amazing how a different wig can change a monster so completely. I almost regret having most of my CAMs rehaired. It would be a blast changing out their hairstyles all the time. At the same time, it almost feels as if they have no sense of identity if their hair isn't permanent...

At first with the CAMs, I hated having wigs.  I wanted to rehair all of them.  But now, I'm loving the wigs, and being able to change their look just by swapping a wig.  The concept has really grown on me...like everything else with Monster High lol.

I made a new wig for my sea monster girl.  I was inspired by G1 Powder's color scheme.  I still want to make another one for her, a dark purple with a green stripe.  Or maybe green with a dark purple stripe.
