I have had nothing but good experiences with this seller.  I have bought from her several times and always left good feedback, I have always paid the same day I bought. There is no problem that I can think of that has happened between us...yet when I went to purchase an item from her today, I was blocked.   I even tried to contact her through ebay and I can't even do that...once I was blocked I can't even ask why.  I never have had this happen as most people in the pony community know me and this is the first time I was blocked by someone like this.  I am hoping she is on the arena and will see this and at least pm me with a reason for this action.  I have done nothing wrong that I can think of at all.

I avoid eBay whenever possible. I much prefer to buy/sell through collector communities such as this one, as my experiences are infinitely better through them than eBay. I really hope you receive some sort of contact from this person, so that you can at least have some understanding of what happened.

Yes me too....I have not left a negative at all for this person or anyone for that matter.  I really try to leave good feedback for everyone.  This is just so odd.  I think my husband bought two items as a gift for me from her just last month or so.  I have her saved on his computer for good pony sellers to buy from.  So he shopped from her as a get well gift for me.  She just has the best pony accessories that are hard to find and sometimes I like to get them for my friends that collect. They make perfect gifts.

Sometimes people will put a limit on how many items you can buy from them per month. I don't know why anyone would do that though... the more sales the better, right? Can you tell if she did that or did she just outright block you? I don't understand why she would since you've been a loyal customer :confused:

There are a few possibilities, I am not familiar with the seller but maybe:
1. She has limits on dollar value or item numbers you can purchase.
2. She has a predetermined setup that auto blocks people who don't meet certain criteria (check out your account to make sure there is nothing that would have gotten you auto filtered.)
3. There was a problem you are unaware of either because of fraud or maybe one of the hubbies transactions.
4. She feels shipping to your area has become unreliable or too costly and she is protecting herself.
5. It was an accident.

I'm sorry you are having a hard time.  You should actually still be able to request the ability to bid on an item.  I've had people on my block list message me to get an exception rating.  But honestly it's never worked out well in the end.  Either I say no and they are mad and try to buy with someone else's account, or else I say yes and then I am harshly reminded why I blocked them.  I hope you can work it out and figure out why she blocked you.

Well I checked my records, I have not bought from her since January.  So it can't be the buying per month meet the quota thing. I don't buy that much that often anyway.  My husband check his account this afternoon.  He has all positives for her and no problems and he has paid quickly and feedback has been exchanged. No problems with this seller from his end either he says.  How can I not meet her criteria and my husband does? I mean we both live in the same city and zip code.  I have hundreds more feedback than him anyway. Both of us have 100% ratings.
I have never been involved in a fraud transaction and either has my husband. We are both honest people just collecting for ourselves and each other.  I can't see how that could possibly have anything to do with it.  We always pay the day we buy and there has never been a problem.  I looked and my husband has left her all positives we both say she is a 5 star seller.  None of this makes any sense.

As far as my husband's account goes, he hardly ever uses it and only really for my birthday and Christmas or a get well pony gift for me so I will be surprised.  He always pays his stuff and he has never had a non paying bidder left on him.


My attempts to contact her through ebay don't work. Ebay just tells me the seller has blocked me and I can't even send a message or question about an item. I mean its really awful to get that for no reason at all.

It's really weird to be sure! If you haven't done anything and you haven't been a victim of a hacked account then I just don't know what to tell you.

yea no hacked account. I change my password so much and I check my ebay often. That has not happened.

She's a very lovely seller to work with and I bought from her from time to time as well - so I'm pretty sure when she read your topic here - she will contact you.

No worries - when you haven't done anything wrong I'm sure she will cancel the blocking against you.
Maybe it was just an accident.

DH is really busy at this point and doesn't really have the time to mess with this.

Do you leave lower than 5 DSRs ever? I check 99% of my customers dsrs ratings and if they leave less than 5 I block them. I don't have much of a choice since Ebay is so strict.
