Oh dear those roadsters. For a bit there that was all you could find at stores. The ENTIRE Mh section crowded with them.

Now, target shoved them into a different spot.

Whaa Puku, that photo is so cool! I totally understand why you needed them both. In fact, you've made me like them and I dislike the guy dolls.. xD

You've done the picture splicing so well, it looks super cool! I also really like what you did with the background!

The roadsters are like the So-Soft Newborn Pinkie Pies of the MH world.

Pukunui- your pictures are always amazing! The action shots are especially impressive!

Pukunui, love that pic :) I loved the dice one too. Can I ask how you get the thrown object so it looks like it's moving? do you just set the focus so it's on the doll not the thrown object?

LOL! Those things are so annoying. The stores around here usually have MLP in the same aisle (or on the other side of the same aisle) from the MH and Barbie dolls, so I frequently get bombarded with "Look! I can talk!"

Thanks. I'm quite pleased without how these two latest ones have turned out. They weren't without their frustrations, particularly the action shot (Ghoulia kept falling over).

And not every photo is a success. I spent several hours last night trying to take a light painting shot of my two Lagoonas, but a) they kept falling over, and b) the light just never looked quite right, so I gave up. Will have to try them again in the daylight, I think.

I always turn their boxes around when I walk down the MLP aisle becuase they kinda freak me out!

And, yeah, getting the dolls to stand is a pain sometimes. There's like that one sweet spot, and if they move a fraction of a millimeter, they're on the ground.

So I did a count today and I have 91 mh dolls. Someone post they have more than me so I feel less strange about it. Gonna have to do something special when I hit the 100th. Maybe bake a MH themed cake something - something to just drive home how nuts I am for trying to be a completionist.

I love it! She collects MIB too doesn't she. I wonder if it's easier for space that way since the fit together nicely?

Yup. The only ones she has loose are the playset dolls and the extras that are dressed in the fashion packs.

I know, right?! Even using sticky tack doesn't always help. Like, with Ghoulia, she kept falling over because of the wind, but I was trying to photograph the Lagoonas indoors and it's not like the house was shaking or anything, and yet they kept wanting to topple forward, despite the fact that I'd stuck their shoes to the board with sticky tack.

My last photo I did I actually hot glued Clawdeen and Howleen to my desk to take the picture how I wanted to. The hot glue just peeled right off afterwards, so there wasn't any problems. ^^
