Hey ya'll!! wow! It has been a super busy day, I see!

I had to work out of town today, and was able to stop at two Kmarts and a Toys R us. I snagged SIgnature Nefera and Operetta for $20, and DotDead Lagoona for $22!

My issue is Lagoona. Her lower arms and hands do not have the same sheen as the rest of her body. The only way to describe it: they look Chaulky...  is this normal? should it all have the pearlescent tone?  She also has a paint scuff one the backside of one forearm, and her pinky is bent really severely....


Any insight?

My SO Lagoona has chalky looking arms/hands too i think its because they're painted not moulded like the rest of her. You could try warming her hand in hot water, bending the finger into a better position and then use ice cold water to set it?

Prismatic:  The only fail safe way of removing Frankie's body stitches (that I've heard of, haven't tried it myself yet) is sanding them off.  Just with a buffing block or something like that.

...I should just send half my paycheck directly to Mattel.  Keep a little bit for Ramen and some for BJD/other dolly purchases, but the majority, just direct deposit it to their account.  Superhero dolls?  God Bless you, if you do it and do it right, Mattel.

SO GLAD I caved on Ghouls Rule Lala and Frankie (although also glad I waited and ordered from Amazon). They are so gorgeous! Frankie's face-up is beautiful! Thanks, whoever posted that close-up of her in the thread a while back. I wouldn't have gotten her without your picture!

Thank you!! I will try the hot water trick! I keep bending it but it just curls back up! I may re-paint her with a pearl over-coat at some point, it just bugs the crap outta me!!

I love Clawdeen so much better with the fro from her artwork. Her box hair was so blah. I do wish I could have gotten tighter curls on her but I have no clue how to get them that tight.

Your Clawdeen looks amazing! I, too, was disappointed in her hair. But, even if I gave her a 'fro, that terrible neon green would still be there, haha.

I actually love the green with the purple. lol. It's a really interesting color combo to me.

It's funny. I hot glued them to my desk temporarily so I could take their pics and as I'm sitting here being lazy and surfing the net, Clawdeen is slowly slowly slowly leaning more and more to the right. Lol. I think I better take them down now.

green is usually one of my least favorite colors but I seem to really like it with purple and it's just another reason to NEED the SS Clawdeen.
