I've seen quite a few smudged face-paint dolls as well, especially lip paint. The plastic part of the box should be stiffer so it wouldn't squash in so easily and smear their faces.  I hope you can get it sorted amenoo.

I haven't seen DT 2.0 anywhere here but I didn't think they were exclusives either, so hopefully they're just taking their time to show up everywhere. I need dat Abbey!

I think the Liv in color dolls have that purple wig, but not sure if it's done with a fringe or tied back.

I really want the shoes from the lab but can't justify spending that much on it just for the shoes.

Today, my shipment of more molding supplies came in, so time to do some more experimenting!!   I finally broke down and bought the more expensive stuff so I hope it works this time!  Custom shoeville, here I come!

Good god man, this thread moves faster than new Monster High dolls are released.

Re: bad lip paint: I've received a few dolls that had lip paint smeared on the inner plastic window as well. In my case, I'm almost positive it happened when the doll was stuck inside before its paint had fully dried because the smear marks on the plastic were higher than where their lips are located, which makes me think it probably happened as she was being packaged/put into the box. It drives me nuts because I really don't want to have to buy acrylic paints to fix them up and I'm terrible at painting anyway.

And agh, what a fab purple outfit on the Create-a-Monster box! Her leg looks all snazzed up too.

In the last thread that got closed, I saw the picture of Skull Shores Cleo's shoes and omg, wow. Pretty damn cool detail, especially for playline. The designers at Mattel are having tons of fun with this line.

About the abbey smears, the only one I ever saw in my walmart had a BIG lip smear just like that, and I kinda wish I'd gotten her since I haven't seen her since.  Same with 1600 Cupid.  >.<  Ah well.  Live and learn I guess. 

I'm not going to the fair but I am going to Houston Sunday night and Monday morning for DH's interview (eek...might be moving there...  -.- )  I wish I could take Frankie...I might dress her up and take her anyway. xD
