Rainbow Dash is for bronies.

LOL, what?  No, really . . . what?

Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie are two of the most merchandised, recognizable characters, and have been ever since G3.  That is the whole reason they were "carried over" into FIM to begin with.  If Rainbow Dash is now there "for the bronies", who was she there for all those other years?  Seeing as she looked exactly the same (minus wings) and couldn't POSSIBLY have been there to appeal to little girls, who, rumor has it, like rainbows.

Aaaaanyway, cute toys!  I actually really like the muzzles.

Good to hear that Hasbro is making FiM-related plushies. They look really adorable, and it's sad that I can't go and buy one...

One thing that irks me though is the manes. Really? Those strings look kind of weird on them.

The head shapes are sort of off to me, but the hair is ADORABLE. ^^
If they do release Applejack though, she'd look strange unless they tie her hair up a la show-accurate look. :S

Much cuter than previous attempts! Although I am not a fan of the fabric mane either.

I would guess these would be the first wave and launching with the long term MLP favourites like Dash and Pinkie who have continued the gen cross over are a nice safe buy in bet for retailers!

Oh wow, are these cuties really only about 5 inches tall? I can definitely go for a plushie or two at that adorable size! Please oh please let there be a Rarity or AJ! It's so sad how those two are so ignored in terms of the Mane 6.

The theory on a brony board I'm not allowed to mention because we can't mention other pony boards is that it has to do with target audiences. Pinkie was the main character of G3/the core 7, Twilight is the main character of FiM, and Rainbow Dash is for bronies. We also think that the other mane 6 might pop up in a separate wave, like how most of the mane 6 are split up into two separate waves of toys.

Rainbow Dash was released in 2003  long before bronies
