Which generations do you collect?

All but 3.5 for me.  I like the art style, but not the toys.

I collect mostly G1, but also G3...and I am starting a collection of G2's.  I find myself buying G4 toys, but I'm really trying hard to stop collecting them (I mostly collect ponies that aren't in that show).

I started out as a G3 collector because they were the only ones available to me. I do prefer G4s now though as they're soo cute! Love the G1s and finally got 2 of them recently. I like the G2 style. If I saw one at a garage sale or something I'd probably pick it up.

I collect anything and everything MLP from all gens. I don't often buy new from stores or off ebay, I just collect what I happen to find at thrift stores and yard sales. I keep anything I don't already have, upgrade if needed and the duplicates go into the someday I'll get around to trading again box.

Not too many fans/collectors of G2's eh? I'm interested in G1-G3, not a fan of anything past that...

g2s are my fav gen. I just only want my collection to be g1 now

Pretty much only G1...however I also collect the G3 art/comic con/fair ponies and I casually occasionally pick up any G4 which I find particularly cute

All except 3.5. I don't care for how they look, but if I ever get enough money to spend leisurely, I might invest in them simply for the sake of 'pony history.'

All except for 3.5. I don't like the toys much, because of the head, although I understand why other people like them. -u- They are cute. Honestly I don't think G4 counts, because I only customize them and only bought a G4 applejack so I could have g3+g4 apple jack (pondering buying g1 to complete the set).

G3s are top of my list because they are easy for me to find.
G4s come next because they are readily available atm.
Finally G1s, they are my childhood generation but most of the ones I want are hard to come by. I've only been collecting again for a month or two so I haven't bought any g1s yet but I'm working on it.
I'm sorry guys but I really don't like g2s, I think they're ugly, same goes for 3.5.
They will not cross the threshold of my house.
