PICS added - Dwarf Italy Lemondrop?

I have an Italian Lemondrop.

I was looking at her today and realised she's smaller than other collector pose ponies and she kinda leans forward like the flatfoot ponies..    after some looking on the internet I found that she might be a dwarf Italian..  she only has '©82 Hasbro' and 'Italy' stamped on her front hooves nothing on the back...

a picture would really help also does she have stamped eye or airbrushed eye and how many drops does she have?

okies.. She's sunfading in the window, poor girl has a pink mark on her face..  I'll go get her and take a pic of her next to a regular CP.

I'm in the US and the Lemondrop that I received when I was a kid was in the "transitional" pose. I received FF ponies at the same time. I think Hasbro was transferring over to CF mold with some of the LDs. It looks like it happened in Italy too?

So what do you think?  is she a regular Italian LD or what is known as a 'dwarf' version?

It looks like you *may* have a dwarf.  Her eyes are the same type (stamped not airbrushed) as mine, and she seems just as short.  The taller girl has airbrushed eyes.  Her legs are further apart though.. experts?

My inclination would be she is a dwarf, but my expertise has never been with the peculiarities of some of  the Italian variants.

My guess is a dwarf would be worth a little more than their taller counterparts (except those with airbrushed eyes) as they are harder to find?  I could be wrong though.

I would tentatively say the same - most people don't seem bothered by them unless they get one by accident, but there are people out there who collect the different variations like that.

Ehh I had some Dwarfs as doubles but I sold them because no-one seemed to notice anyway *sigh*
