I am getting to the stage of agreeing that such a place must exist the reuse of accessories is - the majority of items in these packages [even that piano!] have been released as ponyville in the past.

Yes, there are only 4 of them in this set - no RD or AJ...

That treasure box comes in different colors in different sets, so they are reusing the mould for it. The G3 mermaid treasure chest is even worse, it has an attachment on the back that looks awkward because it's meant for the mermaid playset and it doesn't attach to any G4 playsets.

They've been reusing a lot of G3 accessories. I'm not sure about the vanity, but I know the piano, the flowerpot, and the tea cart are all from G3.

I like that their dresses look kinda, vaguely, like the dresses they wore in the episode. When watching it, I got the impression that these four dresses were designed in a way so that it would be easy to produce them for the toyline (while Applejack's and Rainbow Dash's have more details that would be hard to translate into toy form). But I guess this is as good as it's going to get from Hasbro.

Reused accessories are getting tiresome.

But there are good points too, Fluttershy's and Pinkie's dresses are very cute!
