Well I'm glad they changed the filter from "The pony all the mods are sick of hearing about" to "Ditzy Doo". I got really scared when I mentioned her in my indroduction post and it got filtered to that. I don't mind calling her either Ditzy Doo or Pony since she's still cute anyway!

My problem with the filter is it makes it difficult to type her more common name. And it's really difficult when you buy a shirt and you want to say what you got (I have a Pony is best pony shirt, so...)

I missed all of the heated threads about her, but it sounds like the mods made a good desicion. No fun in getting harsh to eachother. But well, i can't say too much as i don't know what people made a problem of in such topics.

Ditzy Doo was the name for her in the first season and fans called her the other name. I prefer Ditzy really. I missed all the heated things on her and I'm GLAD I did. Don't need it and don't want it!

it annoyed me when they first did it.  First of all, it broke my image link.  Then I also started getting pms with "the pony the mods are sick of hearing about" all through them, it made things very hard to understand.  Ditzy doo doesn't bother me.

I got the impression the reason her name is filtered isn't so much because of that episode directly, but because of fans fighting with each other because some people *really* like her and others not so much.

Actually, I'm glad to see this topic come up because of one thing...I thought all the "Ditzy Doo"s I've been seeing were people trying to get around the filter! I knew it originally said "the pony the mods are sick of hearing about" and didn't realize it was changed...so I was kind of afraid of ever mentioning her at all! I guess that's somewhat OK if it's a neutral reason (like look at this Ditzy Doo shirt I got, or something?)
