but I thought at the time I posted it, and believe I insinuated that it was an overall observation since I hadn't seen many in the corral either...

I also think the economy may have a bit to do with peoples willingness/ability to participate...I know at times, thats what would prevent me is not having the budget in certain months...


I'm about to co host a custom swap, but I'll be glad to see some more swaps here in the corral in the near future ...Hopefully I'll be able to join one in a few months!

Okay, you are talking about a lack of swaps that are non-custom pony swaps, right? Cuz there are like 10 I want to be in, but have maxed out on my 3.

A friend and I are working on Army swaps for each other that we are going to send at Christmas. If they have an official Army swap, I may have to enter that too .

well yes, but like i said, i posted the thread a few months ago, when there were only like  4 or so active swaps

I would kill to be able to participate in a box swap. I do the ATC swap every month, and its amazing. However this month someone literally had to mail me a stamp so I could participate, so joining a box swap (especially with the chance of getting an international partner) is way out of what I can afford. And even once I finally can start saving up some spending money, international shipping would still be too much for me.

I actually considered joining the Postcard Swap, but I don't want to "show off" the place I live. I haven't even lived here for a year, wasn't even supposed to be here this long, and really really really dislike the place. So yeah.

I'd be tempted in the army swap if there was a long shopping time and someone from Aus would join, international postage is just mega.

I participated in my first swap recently (postcards, for anyone that's curious) and it was fantastic! I definately will join in more
As a jobless 16 year old, though, most swaps are out of my budget lol
