Same! I am also 31, and if you'd told me when I was a little boy that I'd one day be obsessed with My Little Ponies and dolls, I probably would've been horrified. At the very least, I wouldn't believe it. I think it's because I'm not only the only male in a house with four females in it, but I've also been the main stay-at-home parent for the past three years. All that girliness has started having an effect on me, for better or for worse.

I don't actually know She was a rash eBay purchase. She came with a schooldress and randomly her PJ bottoms, so I think she's wave 2?

I *think* they're Bratz...got them in an eBay lot I have spent far too much time on eBay but I've made a couple of really savvy clothing purchases for a couple of quid, so far all the clothes apart from one or two items fit, but they are easily altered

Now as I said, I don't like dolls.

Now can any of you explain why I have these and why I still want more? Why I love photographing them, posing them and dressing them? Gah I never even did that when I was a kid!!!

LOLOL.. I can relate..
I hated dolls when I was a little girl.. I even destroyed those of my friends.. tied a rope around their necks and pushed them off the stairs to 'hang 'em' and such.. haha.

But MH is just a very neat idea.. I've always loved ghosts and zombies and such.. so.. hm, maybe the line does appeal to even us 'doll-haters' b/c it's not the stereotypical 'pretty girls'-design (even tho it still is, in a way, but with wings, fangs, horns and additional body pieces? xD?)

BTW I love that white werewolf girl! Very pretty! One day I want to have an all-white ghost-girl.. but so far all nude spectras I've seen went too high and the CAM sets do not have a white torso. :7

LOL. OK. Going by the face-up, I think she is. I recently bought a wave 2 Frankie on a whim, but now I'm not sure I like her so much. I may end up selling her nude. I do like her shoes, though.

As much as I've said that Frankie is my favorite character, the more I get into MH, the more I'm finding that I don't like as many of the Frankie dolls as I first thought. My favorite one is still the Skull Shores doll, although I'd prefer the color one to the b/w one that I've got (why oh why does the color one have to be another $*#@!% exclusive?!), with the Gloom Beach one a close second. I wouldn't mind an original wave 1 Frankie in her little school dress with the tie. She's kinda cute too.

My favorite Lagoona is the very rare wave 2 one. I've managed to trade a DotD Deuce for one, although she is supposedly going to be rereleased soon.

Yes, they all have leg and arm fins. The leg fins come off to help with dressing them. No head fins, although her ears are kind of fin-like.

Personally, I think that wave 2 Lagoona is the most gorgeous of all the MH dolls released so far. I'm so glad I managed to find someone willing to do a trade so I wouldn't have to pay the exorbitant scalper prices for her (and I have a feeling that even after she is rereleased, those prices won't drop by much as she'll probably still be rather hard to find).

I've been buying Ponies, which are high priced, when you buy ALL of them, if that wasn't enough, I'm getting those La Dee Das now..
and then I'm on the verge of madness, Monster High's Werecats (All of them, mostly Toralei) are extremely tempting...
