Alright, I have a plan! I finally decided which time period to do and I'm going to start this weekend. If everything goes well I should be done the pony pretty quickly, but the extra might take a while.

I have my ideas, and I know I started sketching, but I don't have them on my computer yet.
I've been pretty sick this week and basically just have been going to work, and coming home to sleep. I'll try and upload them as a check in as soon as possible.

Sorry I've been so quiet lately, I've been busy with my thesis (or mainly stressed about it, to the point I got nothing done... But now I'm making some progress and for the past few days I've been reading reading writing reading...)

I have my bait prepped and I finally did some sketching, although it looks like this will be one of those rare occasions where I'm probably going to start working without planning too much beforehand, for some reasons I just can't draw the clothing etc. Well, I have the basic outlines so maybe it's time to start to play with the clay and see how it goes. Now I only need to figure out how to do lighter types of armatures, or this is going to end up super heavy... 

I don't remember if I already stated some favourite candy in my form... I'm not picky and probably I'm not even familiar with the candy available in my partner's country. I love liquorice (even salt liquorice / sal ammoniac stuff, haha) and chocolate, toffee/fudge etc. are always great in any form. Also dark chocolate! Oh, and to mention some other types of treats, I also love nuts (walnuts & pecans especially) and tea.

I am slow  Okay, check-ins were due yesterday, I don't need pix, just tell me what part of the process you are in (even if it's just planning and acquiring parts). We have 2 months until shipping, but this time of year FLIES so I recommend that everyone take a chunk out of their 'to do's' on this soon (Me too!)

The more I hear from people, the more excited I am to see these final ponies and their stuff. I'll wait til Monday to send out reminders to those who have not checked in yet.

My bait is finally prepped for paint/sculpt/ect. I have the idea I'm running with still going. I have a couple of the key accessories made and I still have plenty of stuff I can add to it.

I actually started on the armatures for sculpting already, woohoo!

Whew.  I got the first part of the sculpting done, not smoothed out yet, but the shapes are there.  I have yet to do the second part though because I keep messing it up and not being happy with it.  >.<  I do have all my little extras for the pony planned out (or most at least) and I am working on some ideas for my partner!

New question for fun. 

If you HAD to go back in time (more than 40 years ago) but you had to stay there permanently, where would you go? And lets say that medicine/medical things aren't an issue and you can be rich.

I would probably go to the 1870's and I would probably tour UK/Europe and build me an awesome house or castle here in Oregon. And I would be the first to have plumbing!

I would want to go back to either the Victorian times or to the Medieval era.  Always loved the thought of the period..though i would certainly miss plumbing and internet.  xD  And I'dhave to learn to use a sword and bow and arrows.  >.>  *cough*

If I went back to the Medieval times I'd have to invent plumbing. And hygiene. And gas masks. I'm just gonna stick to the 1870's.
