Congratulations to Germany on their 4-2 win!

Also WTF I have never even heard of that about the dogs!! I love animals and I can't believe they would do something so awful!! I have heard of this happening in other cities too and for other things like the Olympics etc.!! Omgs how horrible!! How could anybody hurt a dog?!

Let me simply state that it is infuriating the living crap out of my mother. XD

Father has almost every match on when he is not working. The man is also half deaf, so I'm sure you can probably hear it anywhere in the house.. or next door..

I am glad that some of you can enjoy it, though. :silly:

Ahhhh Xabi did so well last night was sooo proud of him, it was amazing!! Go España  :lovey:

Not too long to go til the finals.. Last game in a week, it always feels like they end way too early! But still, I'm very excited to see what's gonna happen.

I was almost rooting for Greece in that game they had with Germany, just because I never would have guessed they'd be so good! But yep, Germany's got a pretty fit team too. I actually predict that it might be the same finale as the one they had in Euro's 2008. Spain versus Germany.. But you never know and I hope Germany won't be in the last game!!

Also, very excited about tonight's game too I really really wish England will win! :) It would be so good for them. But we've gotta see. Hope Italy won't fake too much :P I don't Italy at all, hope England will beat them!

We'll know soon enough ^_^

I haven't watched any yet, as I can't seem to find what channels they are featured on in the US, and I think you have to pay to watch the games. :c
But I have been keeping up, and I'm rooting for Germany, as usual. :P
You can watch the games in USA on ESPN channels. ESPN and ESPN2 I believe it was. If you put in "eurocup 2012" in google and Search, it can display the most recent and upcoming results, and I think it should list your timezone times so you know when they are on. So if I do that it will say the time 'ET' (my timezone) so probably it will work for you too!

@ moomargh - I know what you mean I could have gone either way on Germany/Greece!! Greece got in those 2 goals there by the end, it was intense. I had thought Germany might get the upper hand too, but Greece went down fighting.

I know I'm just gonna die if England loses lol...  :yikes: I want to believe!, but Italyyy....arghhhh I'm not sure if England can hold out!  :drunk: STILL I CAN HOPE

I always kind of root for Portugal (Scotland never even get into the competition lol:)) because when we were kids our class did a draw and we all got assigned a team and the person with the team that won got a prize. I got Portugal. I think Brazil won that year but I've been supporting Portugal ever since;)

My husband and I have been trying to catch every game we can.  Go Germany!  I  Ozil!!!

And to anyone in the US, you can watch all the games on ESPN's site.  They are shown live and can also be watched archived.  You do not have to have a subscription or cable.

Reminder to stay on topic please! Id hate to have to lock something innocent <3

As far as you 'Italy haters' go, ill be sticking my tongue right out at y'all.  Im sorry, but if Italy looses they will have a harder time with their own people then the team that beat them. We are hard core ;)

England isnt really known for football..atleast, not to me.  IMHO, they should be able to wipe the floor with them, but after the discrace 2 years ago im not sure what to think.

They better have woken up.

Ahh this game is gonna be a long one! So funny to watch it, both teams have missed quite a few changes o: They've both made so many mistakes awww. Still rooting for England tho I must admit that Italy's been better in this game!

Hehe and sorry I don't really mean to 'hate' on anyone, Italy just isn't one of my favorites :) But they are playing pretty well in this game, I have to admit that.

Would be pretty cool to see if this game goes all the way to the penalty kicks! :P Would be fun to watch.

After this game two days off and then it's Portugal vs. Spain. Which one would you like to see in the finals? :)

Well now, this should be interesting.

Im still mad it went to the shootouts (come on, wake UP!) but now they are paired up against my other background country.

Our house will be split down the center. Again.

This is going to get messy...

Oooh, there's a 2012 Euros thread on the Arena. Nice. I've read the thread briefly and saw that Italy needed some support. Here it is! My first team is Sweden since it's my country but my adopted team is Italy. Yesterday was a good day for me. :) I didn't want it to go to penalties but it turned out very good after all. My no.3 team is Portugal and my no.4 team is Spain.

English are something like the inventors of football.
I'm not really into any sports, but when national team plays on such events I always cheer. Too bad we didn't get into quarterfinals

You may very well be the first person I have ever heard say that :silly:

Now that England's out, there probably won't be much watching anymore. I'm curious to see who will win though. I only pay really close attention when the World Cup is active, heh.

Yeah, the worldcup is huge and is what really brings everyone out^^  Euro cup, there will still be flags on cars and homes but I dont forsee quite the scene that would happen with the finals of the world cup.  Then again, ive been wrong before :)

And guys, that was just a personal statement--what I see, from where I am.  I dont know the actual history behind things and it wasnt meant to bring anyone down <3  Im a just a typical person who has a family tradtion to watch and  cheer on my root countries

Agreed!

And don't worry, my comment wasn't serious/angry. At least, it wasn't meant to sound that way :silly:

Ahh viva españa!  :lovey:
What a game :) I almost worried they wouldn't make it! Yay for Iker, he's such a good goal keeper!

I'm pretty sure now that it will be the same teams in the finals that it was in Euro 2008. Would be quite funny. Germany has been pretty tough this year so I'm a bit worried, but still trust my team fully.

Germany vs Italy tomorrow. I think I know who's gonna win :) Any guesses?
