Echo - Updated 27/6 - finished!

[Gingerbread]

Echo is a monster CaM who I have specific ideas for, she's taken a while as though the areas I've painted are small they needed so many layers! I used acrylics, Mod Podge, eye shadow (mixed with Mod Podge to get the shimmery look I wanted) and really fine glitter. I didn't touch her eyes - I am in no way skilled enough to do that! - but I went over her lips, her fins and ears, and she also has subtle glitter on her face, ears and fins

Her new blue torso should be with me in a couple of weeks so for the moment she's nicked Lilthas

Hair....not so good. I just can't find a wig that will look good on her. Any suggestions?

I've got hold of the blue wig from the skeleton CaM...it's coming from the US though so its going to take a while. But gotta be patient! Was thinking of re-rooting but making holes in her head....well, me and sharp hot things don't mix so I thought it best not to!

Speaking of wigs, my CAM vampire and gargoyle boys arrived today and my heart sank when I saw the monstrosity that is the vampire's wig. It looks awful. Apart from being all sticky with hair gel, it's badly cut (there's a big gap on the left side that looks like it was meant to be for his ear, but it doesn't line up) and there's a big section of the clear plastic cap visible at the front so you can tell he's wearing a wig.

I'm going to have to find an alternative wig for him, methinks.

Yep I hate that the wigs need to be positioned in a way that hides the plastic and not how you want them! I bought a Liv wig for my werewolf cam and the plastic bit right at the front is completely on show Still not sure what to do about that. There but be a way of making wigs with a mesh base rather than a plastic one.

Oh wow thankyou for the link! They are awesome...They're only a little more expensive than the CaM wigs have been going for on ebay UK, so pricey but not too bad

That last pic looks like her lippy has run - it hasn't it just looks weird on that pic. I am so chuffed with her
