I finished pony #2 and am not as happy with her as #1, but I still think she will be loved. I feel like she needs an accessory or something...

Dear partner, I am leaving the tails super long and you can cut it how you like I usually sign with an acid-free micron pen. Unless it's a dark-colored pony, then I paint my initials and the year with a fine paintbrush and white paint.

I'm pretty easy to please as far as any extras (or none) go I also love notes from people.

You ponies have some great ideas when it comes to gifts!! I've been so focused on baits/hair I haven't given much thought about 'extras' ... and as soon as the ponies are out of the way, I'm going shopping for little gifty things    Plus the idea about taking ponies on a photo shoot - that is really fantastic! I live by the ocean, so I'm thinking my partners will receive photos with their ponies on the breakwall... or from the lookout... no, beach...   err, I'm not sure where!

But, I've completed my mane on my second pony (I'm so happy with it too!) and more hair has arrived, so I get to sit and contemplate partner preferences and hair colour later this week in my free time...

Got my hair on Saturday, but due to a two day migraine, not starting rehairing til tonight.  I know my partner is going to love what she gets though!  And I am going to look for some extras as well when I am finished, I think, if I don't make something else to go in their box.  Thankfully, I know what she likes, so this should make it easier.  =D

Edit: I'm done with the first pony, and... I absolutely love how it turned out. I'm going to be honest, it's going to be hard for me to give this pony up... At the same time, I can't wait for my partner to get her! <3

One of mine begged me to leave her hair long and do the neck/leg curl thing.  The other one has not told me what she wants done yet.

both of mine have been rehaired and styled. just waiting til its time to take their pics for the check up date. they look so different and still pretty with their new hair color.

I know the feeling!!    Just finished one of mine (glue is drying and then she'll get a shampoo treatment) but... she turned out really cute and I'm hoping that my partner will adore her too! Plus I'm busting to show everyone how gorgeous these hair colours are!

But on reflection, this pony needs more hair in her tail - so I may end up snipping the cable ties and adding more... it's not noticeable though, but I'm just aiming for a more tidier end result for my partner. 

Curious about photos - progression photos are taken as work is done on the pony, yes? So are we not to take completed ones of the ponies until closer to the check-in date or can we take them (say next week) and that still counts when the check-in date rolls round? Sorry for the confusion, Ducky's comment about not taking photos until closer to the check-in date has just thrown me, is all.

The dates for check-in photos are just deadlines. If you want to send me photos prior to those dates, that's fine.

Man, i've been so little on here these days! Can't seem to focus enough.

However, good on track with re-hairing. 2 ponies done and thinking which will be the 3rd. I also got my partner a gift, but they MUST also get some good dutch candies, but those will be bought few days before shipping, so they'll be yummi when they arrive

By the way - i took photos of the ponies when they were done... hope that's no problem? Should i take shots during working on them? Only did the outcome!

And i'm no trouble with extras. If my partner wants to add them thats great but no pressure. I think i'd like everything, so no worries! I appreciate the efford!

Halfway through with my other partner's pony! To be honest, I wasn't quite as excited about working on this one, since my partner likes completely different colors to me, but now that I'm actually doing it, I'm finding that this is a beautiful color. <3

Oh, Honeycomb!!    I feel your pain! Waiting is *such* a drag!! I have discovered that US shipping is slower than UK shipping lately, so hang in there and keep positive!    I do love the working time you've given us Rose - it does give us ample rope! 

Haven't done as much as I hoped for over the past few days - so many distractions! Am hoping tomorrow will be more productive... and still searching for a bait for one of my partners. I know the type I want, it's just finding a baity one and yeah, good luck with that!
