Need help ID. Bought this in a big lot a while ago from a seller in the US and didn't really get much information about it. I've tried looking online to find a match but couldn't, closest is maybe colombian?


Anyway she's in terrible condition. Maybe you guys can shed some light as to where it's from?

looks mexican to me.. but not sure maybe her hair is discolored..

Well, she has no foot stamps, so I'd guess Mexican too.   It looks like her hair is just very faded- there's bits of pink still left. Whatever she is, she's definitely worth fixing up! Poor gal!

Are the feet flat or concave? I can't quite tell from the pic. If  thye're flat, that would suggest Mexican, but that's some major fading if she is!

I've compared to the Mexican in Nirvana gallery and symbol does look the same. It's just hair and eye colors are different and maybe body color too? This one I think faded all over? 


I decided to open her up and her tail is very rusty - how do I fix it or prevent it from getting worst? Thanks.
As far as I can see I don't see a hint of pink, more rust than anything lol

you have to remove the rusty washer (i do it with pincers) and wash the tail in oxi action liquid soap. maybe you have to leave the tail in the soap for 1 day. i fix it with wite tie so it doesnt come apart.

That looks like a mexico tail washer to me, most of mine have had tail rust so I have had to remove the washers.  I use toothpaste and a toothbrush (one designated for cleaning) to get the rust off of the tail and out of the inside of the pony.   Good luck!  I look forward to seeing after pictures!!

she is mexican congrats!!!

i would give her a REALLY good wash and remove her rusty washer, she will look so much better for it. the mexican hair responds really well to being washed, conditioned and straightened imho i would try that first before rehairing her.

Yep she's a mexican bowtie! I have her!

Yours seems to have really faded hair though.
