By Mimiwoo on eBay. Pretty poor photo of it but apparently I have no photos of the whole thing, but its gorgeous! I've had it for years and I don't think I'll ever get tired of it.

So much awesome....In theory I *should* be able to sew as I am an industrial machinist by trade. However, one, I don't have a sewing machine, and two my hands don't work that well. But this thread is pure inspiration! I bought a couple of cheapy doll dresses yesterday for my MH Frankie, they don't fit that great but with a nip and tuck they should be ok :)

I don't have any, but I wish to ask you clever people a question: MH related!
How do you make them fit exactly? Do you put in a zip or velcro at the back? I find that whenever I make one that slides over the large hips of mh, they never fit around the bust?
Any help?

MH proportions are crazy!  Most of the clothes I made use snaps, although recently I picked up some very flat velcro to try and that's what I used on the apron.  On the most recent dress I used eyelets and the dress laces up in the back.

here you will find a great tutorial on making doll slopers ( Patterns for dolls with figures).  I have tried the torso or bodice sloper and it works really well there is also a pants sloper tutorial as well.  Good luck!

I made a skirt the other day and I basically held up my fingers to the hips of the doll and wrapped the cloth around my 2 fingers, then sized it down for her waist. I hand stitched it all, left the top open for velcro and made a skirt. My sister who doesn't have a MH doll, used her memory and 2 fingers to measure 8 outfits for me. When she came over I was amazed that every outfit was perfect, the only thing she didn't get right was the neck size, which she had over measured, which can easily be fixed. I will take pics once I get a good day of sunlight.

I've only just started sewing as well, my attempts are not nearly as good though. So far I have made a cape and a 3/4s finished dress x)

I love the BJD sweater! I need to find a knitter ( or learn LOL) to make a pullip size sweater....I love the over sizes sweater look!!
