I really love the artwork for these dolls - more than the dolls themselves really, but I think the dolls are beautiful too- (it is really hard to make a doll look like art)

So I was poking around online to see what prices these girls were going for at all the different stores. Walmart's website says $12.97, but when I rang them up on the price scanner at the store it said $17.97. What the heck?

I was going to grab Una Verse, but I didn't see any sense in paying $5 more for her in the store when I could just buy her online.

 i really just wish these dolls were more poseable.. maybe they can get a body up date while  they are at it?

I wouldn't consider Novi Stars major competition for Monster High, so probably not. That said, they might release a CAM spider girl at some point. They do have a bee girl out, so a spider seems like a logical addition to the CAM sets.

While I can't say for sure that Malie will spur anyone into action, if she's fairly well-received then companies certainly might put more thought into multi-armed fashion dolls. I have to imagine making a jointed doll with multiple arms would be quite the challenge, though. It would be interesting to see if Mattel could pull it off with the Monster High line.

Is anyone collecting the Secret Pets for Novi Stars? I'm waiting on my girls to come in, but I stopped at Target yesterday and picked up Zero. He is so cute! I'm definitely going to get my hands on the others.

Ugggghhhhh!

I just got my Una Verse in the mail and one of her eyes is almost completely sideways! Is there anything I can do about this or am I going to have to exchange her for a new one?
