Hehe, I well I know LIV is going out because it's not selling, my complaint was more of the fact that I thought part of the reason was because they stopped making some of the as articulated?

Still, no jointed arms, but jointed knees? Confusing.

Heh, I was just coming to discuss this picture. The clothes look like they'll fit MH, but not well. Definitely no real shoe swapping, since MH has a much more pronounced arch (it's part of why every release has them wearing platforms and heels). Of course, LDD looks to have a smaller foot anyway...

Dolls are not intended to raise your children. :/

And whenever I hear child psychologists ramble on, I always wonder HOW they were raised.... Cause seriously... Everything they say about children and fashion dolls is.... wrong. O.o
I love psychology, but child psychologists and crazy parents scare me.


And seeeriously, why don't people get that these bodies are STYLIZED. It's art. They're impossibly skinny in a way that isn't realistically anorexic, it's an art style. All the other proportions are so far from reality that you caaan't complain about their waists. I mean, what's nice, Corpse Bride turning kiddies anorexic? Please. Scary thing is, I've actually heard complaints that MH girls are skinny, with, get this, large breasts... ... ... Really now? .__.
Sorry, those girls might top out at a B cup, maybe? Wow, that's large and exaggerated.

Besides, what do they REALLY want? It's impossible to make a fashion doll with entirely accurate proportions, because they're too small. The clothing drapes wrong. Part of a fashion dolls skinniness is to prevent them from looking off when they're dressed. :p


... ... .. Aaaand now that I'm done ranting there, on the actual subject...
I think they're cute! And I bet they cooould be obitsu'd, on the right body. Some MH clothes can be squeezed onto the 25cm obitsu girls, and I'm sure these La Dee Da's have vinyl heads that pop off like other fashion dolls. It's just a matter of matching skin tones. :3

I'm not a biiig fan of the dolls themselves, I don't like their bodies or their faces... But I love their hair styles, make up, and clothing. I'll definitely steal some fashion packs for my MH, or a tight squeeze on my lil Obitsus. ^_^

I can't make myself like them. If they had jointed arms, or were jointed like MH, maybe. But there's something about them that makes me want to punch them in the face. xD
Their outfits are really cute, but I don't have the money to buy dolls just for their outfits.

I was pretty upset about Liv being killed off, but Spinmaster shot themselves in the foot taking away the joints as well as with some pretty bad quality control in more recent batches (at least I think they're more recent?). I got two broken dolls in one day, and never had a problem with 9 before that. :/ I actually also thought all the girls had different skintones, but after getting one of each character I learned there are only 3 different ones (and 2 are for one character). That was very disappointing.

I'm not too excited about these dolls (but I've never been much of a "doll" person beyond ponies.. I'm still really surprised I like MH). Still, the outfits are super adorable and I can definitely see why you guys like them! x3
