(The previous pix are in my photobucket album still)
Okay, here are the last pix of my official host. My camera is AWOL and I am praying that I didn't leave it at scout camp. I hadn't downloaded the casino night/bon voyage pix yet so I can't post them here
Anyway, we took the trolley around town and I got some pix of them at 'The McLoughlin House'. The home of Dr. John McLoughlin, "The Father of Oregon". I feel like it's haunted by his poor wife, although the park rangers deny it
She was a Native American woman and pix of her always look so sad. Dr. McLoughlin was one of those guys who lived for being the big fish in a small pond and had an eye for pretty young women. He had the creepiest portrait of himself hung above his mantle and I sent a postcard of it home with my guests.
Anyway, here's Mimic in front of the house. It used to be at the bottom of the hill by the river but in 1909 they moved the house in it's entirety up the steep hill it now sits on top of. It had also been used as a hotel and a brothel before being restored.
