Childhood Ponies

I recently compiled a list of all of the ponies I had when I was a kid.  So I thought it would be fun to see YOUR list too!  So jot down all of the ponies you remember (I know some of us might of hand more than we could count.)


 Here's my list.  I was really surprised to see that I had so few!  Although, I'm very upset with four year-old me for not taking better care of her ponies!  My favorites are going for so much, and I can't even find the one I want to re-collect the most!

EDIT: I don't think I had Chocolate Delight or Starswirl  after all.  I think I just remember seeing their packaging. o.o

I have almost 100 G3s from when I was a kidling
(haven't counted... but it's a big number...)
I had a bunch of the g2s with wings, which sadly aren't with me today  (especiallycopperglow *cough*)
And lastly, I have Buttons and Raincurl I got from a thrift store
Those are my childhood ones-
I'm collecting a bunch more, but my childhoods will always be my favorites

I do still have the majority of my childhood ponies, but I did give some to my cousin when I got a little older. I believe the ones I gave her were Cotton Candy, Surprise, Twilight, Windy, Bouquet and G2 Sundance. I should check to see if she still has them. lol

I had Lil' Pocket as a young child.  She was a gift from my Great Grandma.  Later, I acquired a few ponies from an old lady and then a friend gave me hers.  I got Baby Glory, Baby Lickety-split with a chewed off leg, Lickety-Split, Applejack, Bowtie, Moonstone and Moonstone with a chopped horn and mohawk, Morning Glory, and Cotton Candy.  I still have most of them but Lil' Pocket is missing.  I need to get  my hands on her again.

This is a great topic. These are always so much fun to read.

I had so many from a very early age...I remember having three Medleys and loving them all. One had a mohawk because I bought it from a yard sale and the previous owner had cut her hair off, so she was my "mommy" pony or sometimes my "boy" pony.

So...my favorite playtime buddies:

i only had fakies, and one particular one was my all time favorite. it was the pink magic touch pony with blue hair. i searched for another for SOOO long and someone here on the arena was kind enough to link me to an auction that had one for sale. she had a hair cut on her mane and tail but that's ok with me, i'm just glad to have one again! she was my favorite pony!!

When I was in 7th grade, an acquaintance was getting rid of her toys. I saw she had a bunch of ponies and asked if I could have them, so I got a group second hand. I know there was Gusty, Beachball, a few So Softs, and a lot of babies. I could have sworn I had an Up Up & Away, but now I'm thinking I never did. Maybe a friend had her. Like I said, ponies weren't my main toy of choice. I never even knew there was a TV show in the 80s until I joined the Arena

I had more childhood ponies than I thought! I've only parted with Flower Dream (don't like the SHS style) Tap Dancer (I never liked her and she was always the "evil pony" when I played, lol) and I recently parted with Baby Fleecy and Woolly since I had two sets.

I love this topic and reading about childhood ponies! I was a crazed pony lover as a kid too, especially during the latter half of the G1s, so I ended up with fair number (thanks mom ) I had Baby Tippytoes, Sparkle Baby Firefly, Sparkle Baby Gusty, Baby Half Note, Baby Squirmy, Fancy Mermaid Sea Shimmer, Whizzer, Quackers, Dancing Butterflies, Glittering Gem, Banana Surprise, Napper, Sunspot, Bright Night, Sweet Notes, Dazzleglow, Bubblefish, and the Slumber Party ponies.

I know I had a few others that were lost along the way somehow But I've still got most of them, and I took pretty good care of them as a kid... and will continue to Dazzleglow and Bubblefish are still two of my all-time favourites.
